Steel Grades
What is 430 stainless steel used for?
430 grade stainless steel is mainly used for standard hot tub stoves. It’s a durable, cost-effective option but not recommended with chlorine, as prolonged contact can damage the surface.
Is 304 or 316 stainless steel better for outdoor hot tubs?
Yes! 304–316 stainless steel is a higher-grade material that’s resistant to seawater, salt air and heat. It’s ideal for coastal areas or intensive use, ensuring longer lifespan and minimal maintenance.
Can I use chlorine with Faustera hot tubs?
It’s recommended to avoid chlorine if your stove is made from 430 stainless steel. For frequent chemical use or if you live near the sea, choosing 304–316 grade is the best option for maximum durability.
