JANINA
small modular house
Janina is a compact modular house with one room and an open terrace. It’s perfect for relaxing in nature, enjoying your garden, or creating a cozy retreat next to your main residence.
Because of its lightweight structure and smart design, this modular house is easy to transport and assemble. In just a few steps, you’ll be able to enjoy your own private space – surrounded by fresh air and peace.
What makes it stand out?
The spacious terrace extends your living area outdoors, creating a place to rest, eat, or spend time with loved ones. Additionally, the wooden structure offers natural insulation and blends into nature beautifully.
Thanks to high-quality materials and precise construction, Janina delivers comfort all year round – whether you’re using it in summer or in colder seasons.
Moreover, as it stays under 35 m², this modular house often doesn’t require a building permit, making installation even easier.

C24 timber
What is C24 timber?
C24 timber is the highest quality grade of softwood, known for its exceptional strength and durability. This premium structural wood is part of the strongest timber class, making it ideal for heavy load-bearing applications, modular home frames, and projects where a clean, knot-free finish is required. Naturally, this high-quality timber comes at a higher price point compared to lower-grade wood — but its performance and longevity make it a worthwhile investment.
Can you use C24 timber outside?
C24 timber can be used outside, providing that it’s been properly treated and sealed to prevent warping, rot and damage over time from insects and weathering. It may also need maintenance each year to keep it looking its best.
Does C24 timber rot?
Pressure-treated C24 wood offers exceptional durability, resisting moisture, decay, and harsh weather conditions for many years without rotting or degrading.
Thermowood
Thermowood is heat-treated wood enhanced through thermal modification at temperatures above 160°C. This eco-friendly process permanently improves wood durability, making it highly resistant to rot, decay, insects, shrinkage, and swelling. Thermowood offers excellent dimensional stability and long-lasting performance for outdoor use.
Charred Timber
Charred timber (also called burnt wood) is created through the careful and controlled burning of the wood’s surface to form a protective, waterproof layer. This traditional process enhances the wood’s durability, weather resistance, and lifespan. After burning, the timber is treated with natural oil to seal the charred surface, improving moisture resistance and preventing decay. The result is wood planks that not only offer outstanding durability but also feature a stunning dark aesthetic. Charred timber is ideal for both interior and exterior cladding, offering a unique combination of beauty, sustainability, and long-lasting performance.

Modular Houses Frame –
Strength Behind Every Modular Home
Just like in traditional timber architecture, every ModuMedi modular wood house is built on a strong and reliable wooden frame. This ensures long-term durability, thermal stability, and resistance to external factors like weather or transportation.
Thanks to precision engineering, each modular unit is crafted using high-quality wood that supports the structure of walls, roof, and floors. Whether it’s a small garden house or a spacious family residence, the modular wood frame provides strength without compromising on flexibility or style.
Moreover, this wooden structure guarantees that your home will feel just as safe and solid as a permanent building. Unlike temporary cabins, modular wood homes are built for year-round comfort and long-term use. Additionally, they meet modern construction standards while offering that warm, natural aesthetic that only wood can provide.
To sum up, if you’re looking for a housing solution that combines smart design with natural materials, ModuMedi’s modular wood structures offer the ideal balance between mobility, efficiency, and timeless style.
